Luckily papa reminded me to bing IC for the exchange of Visitors' Pass at the s'pore airlines travel services(SATS)..Ya met Huihui then went in with 3 tourism students. I feel kinda threatened! They're all wearing blazers. Seems like i'm the most heck of em' all. No blazer, nv tuck in blouse..i just secured it with a belt.
It's my last interview.It's either acceptance or rejection.I'm fully prepared!
It seems to our disadvantage cos they're hiring only tourism students.And we're like two aliens trying to snatch their rice bowls!I was the 2nd to be interviewed.The setting is like patients at the waiting room..goin to see the doc.Yepa knocked b4 entering.Basic manners i guess.And WOW!! That Human resource manager, Joycelyn is pretty! Hahhaa.Think she muz have been an air-stewardess b4 comin to the ground.She didnt even bother to read my portfolio..but okie lah cos nth much in it.
I went smiling thru out the interview.Maybe it's just a way to hide my nervous-ness.Asked me for self-intro then what i had learnt in school.I thought i answered whatever comes to my mind and it's rubbish! Then she passed me a paper and i had to read out the Boarding announcement passage which has some chim country names.Hopefully i didn't pronounce em' wrongly! And there're "3"s and "th" in it. Muaahahhaa trying to test my prounouciation?! Luckily i've been pronouncing em' the correct way since pri2! So byl! =p
Think i'm a lil more talkative today than usual. Therefore the interview was more like chit chatting!But in all, i'm only pleased with my reading..Then on the spot, she said i'm selected!! I couldn't believe my ears! Nearly screamed but i controlled myself! If only there weren't anyone, i'd have jumped my way outta room!
Working hours are like shit! 10 hours a day, either work before the sun rise or end work when everyone's sound asleep! Seems like i can't msn by then....=( hmm..and ya the uniform is super ugly too!Blue blazer with dark navy blue pleated skirt,black stockings, muz make up somemore!! FOr sure to look like a clown.Somehow i can't imagine that it's now my time to be laughed at! Okie i shouldn't be complaining and be glad that i'm working in my dream place-AIrport!
Afterall, it's not a very joyous news..Hui stil has to wait for their reply.SHe's way better than me, in everything..but y didn't the manager accept her on the spot?? We were still thinkin' of working 2gether and laughing while working and seeing stars once in awhile! Perhaps they'll give her a pleasant surprise tmr!
Finally, this big problem in my head is gone~ Carefree once again! =)
