A happy chinese new year to everyone out there!
Went Toa payoh this later mornin'...to be exact, it's Kim Keat Link. Yeah my maternal ah ma's place! From the staircase, we could already hear my cousins' voices! Hahhaa i love chinese new year...maybe cos we dun celebrate christmas. My cousin said i'm like so expensive today! Hahaha...light-green Mango tshirt, levis jeans,U.R.S slip-ons and Lancome bag...hahhaa but the moment i laugh, ppl will think twice if all these are genuine...Who cares...i dun care about brands..i dun care about how you think i should present myself.
My mum, third aunt and Fifth aunt all wore the similar shade of purple top this year! Such a coincidence! Steven uncle(3rd aunt's husband) is getting hip-per...tight fitting flowered top! I was teasing him that he's a metrosexual at the age of 49! I guess he just kena influenced by his two sons, Shawn and Nicholas. Shawn was very xat with his styled hair. People thought we were a couple cos we're very close and he's just younger than me by 6months but he looked older =x! hahaha. His bro,sec 4 this yr...hahaha he's sooooooooooooo cute and handsome!! Taller than me already! He's just soooo irresistable! Wahahaha his frens thought i was his girlfren when they saw him and i together! Lolx! My cousin always ka jiao nick that he's like a perfect boyfren- sensitive, understanding,well-tempered...jus so good in and out!!Then he'll blush!! Close cousins who grew up together, we are =)
I wore the ear-rings Ling sis(eldest cousin) made for me! SHe's soooo happi and proud of her work! =) Xiao Jiu(2nd uncle) along with his sons, Joshua and xavier, wore the same coloured pressed shirt. They looked cute walking together! Da Jiu(eldest uncle) got a lil tummy! He "gek" his adominal muscles then i "boxed" his tummy! It's time to diet,Da Jiu! Seeing mama(granny) and Yeye(grandpa) today, i noticed how much they've aged. Though i see them regularly, i just realised this today. Then you see all of the rest of us, cousin, all growing taller, older... Wonder how many more years will all these fun lasts...?! Time waits for no man...mmm...
All 30 of us, headed for Lao Yi( Grandma's elder sis) house. The kids were all self switching to different uncles' cars! It's like a routine or tradition every year. Lao Yi's house means House of food to us!! Never ending supply of yummy! After that, altogether again, went Adam's Rd..Da jiu's house. There, we had Pizza and kfc! Eat eat and still eat! Oh ya gambling session for em'. So much laughter and jokes. I was the audience along with nicholas and didi korkor(eldest boy cousin) watching the rest gamble. As usual...my uncles were teasing at my engine-cannot-start's laughter. The entire house was filled with my laughter...felt as if the ground shaking...Xiao jiu say 1!!! Hahhaa.
Near evening, my family left for Gugu( father's elder sis) house. Eat again! By then, i was getting a lil sleepy and tired aft the fun.. but food kept me awake-at least for an hour...My bro's shoe sole came off!! He was like limping away and us laughing at the back...! Then we went WHampoa ah ma's house( paternal side). Dinner! Eat and fun!!! Then gambling session again! This time my aunt forced me to gamble..SHouldn't be a spoilspot so joined in. Black jack...! Mum gave me some capital of $2.20..bet on like 20cents..! But i dun realli know how to play.. I got ban lak yet i still wanna "bu" cos i thought King and an ace is 11!! Da gugu(elder aunt) stopped me! Hahhaa. Then Er gugu bet on $120...but lost it to the banker who's her husband in double...$240!! Still she dun admit defeat. Bet on another 120 n soooo lucky of her, she got double Ace which tony uncle had to pay her back triple. We were laughing at this couple! Hahhaa. In the end she won back $100 more! Yeah i won $1.40! Hahhaaha. My second attempt to gamble in my 18 years of livin~
Jus checked my mail and received a returned mail...It's the mail i sent to cathay pacific airlines. I'm realli careless!! I sent it to
CATHY pacific instead of
CATHAY!! Gosh!!! Kill me!!!
It's a busy, filled with laughter, never-stop-eating day today!
Tmr, gotta go Andrew uncle's house, then Sunshine Terrace(at serangoon there) great-grandma's house til night...Hohoho it'll be even more crowded there!! But even more distant to that side except for the lil kids to keep me company. Think i'll be bored tmr...Dun think i'll go over to Ruiling's house tmr. Cos quite ma fan to take train down, change bus, then return back to Serangoon again. How should i spend such longs hours there...
